MISSION
Dr. Luciano Perrone is a cosmetic surgeon creator of “Dr. Perón, l’originale mastoplastica argentina, il segreto delle donne più sexy del mondo” a treatment for breast implant application, tailored respecting body proportions and client’s specific needs.
CASE STUDY
Dr. Perrone is using a website, to order a large amount of boxes for his products, based on the guidelines given for the packaging design, is required to apply an existing image on a traced line with specific dimensions. The Client’s objective is to aim at a result able to communicate a message of elegance, femininity and purity.
MY WORK
The Client’s want to receive a case style box, with the top sealable using folding flaps. The best choice is to use a white cardboard to enhance the printing and avoid change in tint.
My job is to edit the image to incorporate the logo with a pattern, both of them require some minor changes to obtain the appealing and tidy final result.
Once the outline for the printing and cutting is established, my job is to apply the same pattern used in the homepage of the Dr. Perrone’s website, adjusting the image to place the floral ornament directly under the logo, as a frame, this will give more character to the box and its contents. The aim is also to place it a little over the guiding lines to avoid blank spaces on the the lid after print and cut.
I also did a necessary edit of the logo design, because the white band in the flag was missing (an error unfortunately visible on the website).
IMPACT
The final result is an elegant packaging design that perfectly maintain the style of the Client’s website: appealing, elegant and feminine, with a tidy and gentle image.
