MISSION
Dr. Luciano Perrone is a cosmetic surgeon and the creator of “Dr. Perón, l’originale mastoplastica argentina, il segreto delle donne più sexy del mondo,” a treatment for breast implant application tailored to respect body proportions and the client’s specific needs.
CASE STUDY
Dr. Perrone is using a printing website to order a large number of boxes for his products. Based on the packaging design guidelines, he required to apply a new image with his logo on a traced line with specific dimensions. The client’s objective is to achieve a result that communicates elegance, femininity, and purity.
MY WORK
The client wants to receive a case-style box with a top that can be sealed using folding flaps. The best choice is to suggest using white cardboard to enhance the printing and to maintain existing colour quality.
My job is to edit the image to incorporate the logo with an approved pattern, both of which require some minor changes to obtain the appealing and tidy final result.
Once the outline for the printing and cutting is established, my job is to apply the pattern, adjusting the image to position the floral ornament directly beneath the logo as a frame. This will add more character to the box and its contents. My aim is also to position it slightly above the guiding lines to avoid blank spaces on the lid after printing and cutting.
I also made a necessary edit to the logo design because the white band in the flag was missing (an error unfortunately visible on the website).
IMPACT
The final result is an elegant packaging design that perfectly maintains the style of the client’s website: appealing, elegant, and feminine, with a tidy and gentle image.
